Almost all miraculers already know that in the latest episodes a misterious old man appears in every episode discreetly. Our big bet is that this old man could be actually Master Fu.
In an old synopsis of Miraculous Ladybug, Master Fu was the Guardian of the Orb and the one who missioned to Ladybug and Cat Noir to capture the akumas. Source
The chances are that person will be officially presented in the last episode of the season 1.
Who is Master Fu really? Why is he watching Marinette and Adrien all the time? I have created this thread to talk about him and discuss our speculations.

I definitely think Master Fu is going to fill the role that was attached to him in the old synopsis. That he told Marinette and Adrien they had to catch akumas, and that he may even be a mentor who taught them how to use their Miraculous in order to do so. If this is true I would love to see him in the Origin episode for the official introduction. {Click for Spoilers} I also personally believe he's got the green/turtle Kwami we see in the intro.  It looks like his Miraculous might be the watch he's wearing, the best place to see it is the screenshot of the upcoming episode. |

Maybe, I think LB and CN knows that there is someone who sent Tikki and Plagg to choose the new carriers, but I think they didn't met Master Fu before. {Click for Spoilers}I wonder what power has this green kwami, since tikki has good luck and plagg bad luck A lot of it will definitely depend on how the origin episode plays out. I'm definitely agreed Master Fu sent Tikki and Plagg to them. If Master Fu didn't mentor them, I'd like to believe they (whether it was Master Fu alone, or if Tikki and Plagg had some choice in it) decided on Marinette and Adrien so at the very least he's the one who gave them their Miraculous. One of those run-ins on the street where he gave them the Miraculous and it was later that day/that night when Tikki and Plagg showed up. (I hope this made sense!) {Click for Spoilers}I'm definitely curious to see as well. Part of me feels it should be reflective of the purple kwami's (I believe the purple kwami is Hawkmoth's personally) or if there's a five-point theme that all of them will fit into.

Master Fu creeps me out. I never saw him until episode 17.And I was wondering why would he watch Chloe and Sabrina roleplay as Ladybug and Chat Noir?

I want to think that Master Fu does not live in Paris, but in another country (maybe China?) and he has come here to watch LB and CN, and meanwhile, he's living in the hotel. I think the fact that he saw Chloe and Sabrina that day was just a coincidence xD |

The idea of him living in the hotel makes sense. I kind of like to think he owns an antique shop and just randomly gave Marinette and Adrien their items. Like hey kid do you want this ring? XD
