Brainstorming Thread

I've RP'd before in the past but never ML so I'd be willing to RP with you! Lemme hear them ideas! (You can PM me with them if you want or here is fine too, lol)

Heck yeah, already working on an OC. I don't know exactly what the entire parameters are but I've been roleplaying for several years so I've got experience~
Very brief bio.
Dylan Bayard. 35 (give or take, he's still a major WIP). Tall, muscular, speaks French but has a southern accent and style of speech when not. His kwami is Kreeg, a dark brown critter with light brown pieces that look like armor. Wears a watch as his Miraculous item and has an armadillo theme to his outfit. His tool is a meteor hammer and his superpower grants him a highly durable suit of armadillo scale armor, which in turn grants increased strength and the.. The best way to describe it would be he can roll into a ball and bounce around like the Morph Ball mode from Metroid Prime or Dillon from The Last Ranger.
Tell me what you think or if something is off/inconsistent. I'll know more once I start watching but I got the basics off the wiki pages without spoiling much.

I got a random idea last night about something. Since I haven't been back long and whatnot I don't know if this has been done (but knowing how creative fanfic writers can get) but have negative/opposite themed Miraculouses been a thing?

Disastrouses. The not necessarily evil (hey look at Cataclysm, destructive but depends on the user in a 'dark is not evil' sorta way) counterparts to Miraculouses.
Fun with antonyms, yaaay. Disasters and miracles, get it? I haven't really done anything with the idea but a bit of idle musing so thoughts on it?

I'm takng about the items themselves, though I do like that idea. Disastrouses would tend to have more negative or destructive effects like Cat Noir's Cataclysm compared to Ladybug's.. Lucky Spots? I JUST watched the episode like half an hour ago, sometimes my memory is bad but anyhoot. I did accidentally spoil myself on a few minor things reading the wiki for some data to build an OC on so I know about the YinYang balance between the two main Miraculouses. But they're not evil nor are the kwami by nature. They just have more of a dark look/feel/effect to them. The Disastrouses I mean.
Kinda like how a sword can't do bad things, or good things, that all depends on the wielder.
I like the idea of being able to summon Akumas, but it would have to be more limited than Hawk Moth's since he has a Miraculous specifically for doing this.

Also been doing more work on Dylan. I like the idea of an armadillo kwami/Miraculous.

I did some more brainstorming on them too.
Instead of superpowers they have megapowers (just an aesthetic name, pretty much the same deal EXCEPT) which instead of having a five minute time limit and draw entirely from the kwami it's more like a kickstart. The kwami engages their megapower and it slowly draws energy from the Disastrous wielder. However once they get around to the 4 minute mark (depending on how much energy they attempt to charge their power with at any given time) their body starts to degrade. Cracking like glass, pieces falling away in chips, and if they try to charge it with too much power at one time after this they could cause serious self damage, or if they keep the power up for too long. Also after using their megapower and subsequently turning it off, they can't use it again until their body completely recovers from it. They'll slowly regenerate (a little longer than it takes a Miraculous to charge for moderate usage) any damage done EXCEPT for injuries caused during or before it was used. Basically it rewinds the effect of the megapower on their body.

I was daydreaming something kinda like that but first.. A Miraculous academy. That'd be an awesome spinoff/AU series, and you have a point. This Master Fu guy seems to know a bit about them and some of the lore. Whose to say those are the only Miraculouses/Disastrouses (it'd be canon in my AU if I write one that Cat Noir has a Disastrous as opposed to Ladybug's Miraculous on account of the Yin-Yang thing) in France or even the world?
Yeah, and whenever they have to use their superpower I guess it's common courtesy to give them space or whatever to let them recharge and transform again? Maybe changing stations around the school? Oh and witches, hmm. Witches are responsible for some of those cursed individuals I bet?
Random dreams. Like my hyperactive brain, sounds like an endless font for fanfic ideas.

My other new idea was the existence of larger organizations a la a Justice League or the Avengers, where good Miraculous/Disastrous wielders formed a network to combat crime and threats to humanity. They'd be called the Bless(ing?) Guard/Miracle Guard as opposed to the dark and underground syndicate of bad Miraculous/Disastrous wielders called Chaos Seed/Catastrophe Seed. In an AU fanfic I was thinking of, at some point both sides would approach ML/CN and Hawk Moth respectively to try and enlist them, making Paris a battleground as the two sides come to full on conflict.

Of course they'd have to be neutral, and hmm. Legion? Like the French legion?

Ooh WWI.

I may actually write something along the lines of the light and dark groups of holders/wielders.. Also I think my first ML fanfic will have two endings, brainstorming has made me like both..

Ouch, sounds like it'd be an interesting RP though.

ReignofBlood. One of those browser based text games but has a roleplaying section in chats and forums, where I've been RP'ing for the past 7 years or so.

So, here they are. Including my ones from before.

The one with the water based Akuma, working name is either Wipeout or Tidal Wave. Involves CPR and cute fluff. After some thinking, will likely have a sequel where Adriene/Cat Noir takes care of a sick Marinette/Ladybug.

Another story, a somewhat dark and longterm project where Cat Noir really does use his Cataclysm on somebody. It of course kills them but he did it to save someone else's life. This leads to a lot of problems.

One where Chloe ends up obtaining the Bee Miraculous. At first she has no idea what it really is but after Sabrina is kidnapped by an Akuma that even Cat and Ladybug can't defeat together it's up to the kwami to teach (read, practically force) Chloe to be selfess and kind for once in her life. When she thinks back on a few things involving her and Sabrina she realizes that she likes having her around more than she wants to admit, and reluctantly takes up the mantle of Queen Bee/Bumblebee.

A short piece for a field trip! The kwami decide that their wielders really need a bit of extra nudging and help to get together. Tikki because she wants Marinette to be happy and Plagg because he's getting tired of Adriene pining after Ladybug. So what happens on this field trip when one of their sleeping bags goes missing? Take a wild guess.

Another long project, this one more AU and sci-fi. Characters are a bit older and takes place in a sci-fi oriented -verse. If you've ever played the Gamecube game Geist, you've already got an idea of the general theme. Marinette and Adriene are scientists for CyberCell Industries. Project Noir is a top secret work on genetic splicing and modification, stated to be done for figuring out how to fix ailments and disabilities with animal DNA on human subjects. Though what it's really being researched for? When one of the subjects, a black feline demi-human escapes, Dr. Cheng's about to learn.

*insert something sorta OC-centric for Dylan, no solid ideas yet*

And the last one, a rare peaceful day where Tikki and Plagg aren't needed and decide to just hang out. Talk about stuff in general like their wielders, about Hawk Moth and his Akuma, what it's like being kwami, and etc.

Good name, and L4D zombies? Hmm..
